LiningYou have the option of deciding upon a full-lined alligator clip, or a part-lined alligator clip.
Full-Lined ClipThis style is best for those with thin or 'barely there' hair and is used in our
AbbyBaby line of clips.
If the wearer's hair is too short for a pony tail, or if the clip will be used to hold back bangs, this line is usually the best option. Moms of newborns tend to like our AbbyBaby clips because they won't poke their baby in the head when clipping into hair or a headband. The AbbyBaby clip can be difficult to slip into the tightly-held hair above a ponytail, so if you are planning to use it as pony-decor, we suggest a Part-Lined clip.
The standard ribbon we use for the AbbyBaby line is grosgrain.
Part-Lined Clip This
option is a favorite among moms of big girls. It is most versatile, as
it can be easily slid in above a pony-tail, or clipped onto our
headbands and hats. If you are planning to clip your bow above a ponytail, we suggest using
clear plastic rubberbands available at Walmart and most drug or beauty supply stores.
Ribbon will line the top prong and the grip of the clip, leaving the bottom prong bare. Although the option is not available on our site, all bow styles except the Gumdrops are also available in a double-prong clip. Please
email me after placing your order if you would like this option. You may also opt to add and AbbyGrip to any part-lined clip.
